Welcome, I'm Lance Nichols, and you're here because you'd like to learn more about who your photographer is. Born in Victoria, B.C., it wasn't long before I traded the lush temperate rainforests of the island for the open spaces of Alberta's prairies and mountains. It was on a trip back to Victoria to visit relatives that I discovered the art, the science and some say, the magic of the camera. 

 

With my grandfather's camera in hand and rolls of slide film, an adventure that continues today was started.  I love telling stories, capturing those special moments, and making that image your story; letting others see and get to know you. Photography gives me an outlet to meet new people and share with them that I crave.  

 

Alongside the ever-present camera, I've volunteered with local theatre, past youth groups and scouting, and have been known to get incredibly geeky about films and movies. Fandoms offer their own unique view of the world. I unwind with a good book, spending time with family, and occasionally making my Jeep "Hawkeye" very muddy.
